The Saudi Capital Market Authority said in a statement that it has approved a regulatory change opening the Kingdom’s capital markets to all categories of foreign investors. The regulator stated: “The approved amendment removes the concept of ‘Qualified Foreign Investors’ (QFI) from the main board market, thereby allowing all categories of foreign investors to access the market without having to meet eligibility requirements.
