Su Zifeng: Artificial intelligence won’t replace humans, but it will change the types of candidates we hire
AMD (AMD.O) CEO Lisa Su said Tuesday that artificial intelligence has not slowed the company’s hiring pace, but job seekers who truly embrace the technology have become a priority. “I don’t think we’ve actually reduced our hiring,” Su said. “ "Frankly, our company is growing rapidly, so we’re actually hiring a lot of people, but we’re hiring a different kind of talent. We’re hiring people who have a forward-looking perspective on AI," Su said. "I believe AI is enhancing our capabilities. It won’t replace people; in fact, it simply boosts our productivity, allowing us to launch more products simultaneously."
