The White House said Tuesday that U.S. President Donald Trump and his team are exploring options for acquiring Greenland, and that using the U.S. military to advance this goal “has always been a viable option.”The White House stated: “President Donald Trump has made it clear that acquiring Greenland is a U.S. national security priority, which is critical to deterring adversaries in the Arctic.The President and his team are exploring a range of viable options to achieve this important foreign policy objective, and of course, the use of U.S. military forces remains one of the options available to the President.” The White House also stated that Donald Trump hopes to acquire Greenland during his term in office.
