China's Space Station Conducts In-Orbit Experiments on Lithium-Ion Batteries
According to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the project “In-situ Electrochemical and Optical Studies of Lithium-Ion Batteries for Space Applications” has commenced aboard the Chinese Space Station. The Shenzhou-21 crew is jointly conducting the experiments in orbit, with Zhang Hongzhang, a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, contributing his expertise as a payload specialist.
