Today (the 7th), the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing released the Global Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index for December 2025. The index showed a slight decline from the previous month, with the global economy remaining largely stable. The global manufacturing PMI for December 2025 stood at 49.5%, a slight decrease of 0.1 percentage points from the previous month, marking the 10th consecutive month the index has remained within the 49%–50% range. Based on the changes in the composite index, the global manufacturing sector maintained a pattern of weak recovery in December. However, the strength of the recovery has not yet provided effective support and still needs to be further consolidated and strengthened. (CCTV News)
