The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has issued the "Action Plan for the Integration and Empowerment of the Industrial Internet and Artificial Intelligence." The plan proposes strengthening the supply of industrial computing power. It calls for accelerating the integrated application of the industrial internet with general-purpose computing centers, intelligent computing centers, and supercomputing centers, and encourages public computing service providers to offer services to industrial enterprises. It also guides industrial enterprises to accelerate the deployment of devices such as edge all-in-one machines and smart gateways. Industrial enterprises and equipment suppliers are encouraged to jointly promote the intelligent upgrading of edge devices by deploying lightweight computing modules in production equipment, sensors, and automated guided vehicles (AGVs) to enhance real-time data processing capabilities. Efforts will be accelerated to build a nationwide integrated computing power network. Pilot programs for intelligent computing cloud services will be promoted and expanded within the industrial sector. The widespread application of industrial large models will be strengthened in areas such as the efficient cross-regional allocation of computing power and the precise matching of "cloud-edge-end" computing resources, thereby enhancing the supply capacity and utilization efficiency of industrial intelligent computing.
