Amap Street Ranking Marks 100 Days Since Launch with Expansion: Introducing a Global Model and Boosting In-Store Business
Today, Amap, a subsidiary of Alibaba (09988.HK), announced an upgrade to its “Street Sweep Rankings.” Leveraging its proprietary world model technology, the company has launched an “Aerial Street View” feature and expanded the scope of the rankings from dining to a wider range of scenarios. To support small and micro businesses, AutoNavi has launched a dedicated support program, announcing that the platform will cover the computing costs to provide free access to the "Aerial Street View" feature for 1 million small and micro businesses. Additionally, AutoNavi plans to partner with 100 cities nationwide to lower the barriers to entry for merchants while providing resources such as data analytics and travel subsidies. Currently, Shanghai, Sichuan, Jinan, and other regions have already launched related collaborations. (Alibaba)
