Eight government agencies, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: Support innovation in model training and inference methods, and develop high-performance algorithmic models tailored to the real-time, reliability, and safety requirements of the manufacturing sector
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and seven other government departments have issued the "Implementation Guidelines for the 'AI+Manufacturing' Special Action," which calls for the development of high-quality industry-specific models. The guidelines support innovation in model training and inference methods, and advocate for the development of high-performance algorithmic models tailored to the real-time, reliability, and safety requirements of the manufacturing sector. We will foster large-scale models for key industries, develop a "cloud-edge-end" model system, and continuously enhance generalization capabilities. We will create small-scale models tailored to specific industrial scenarios and encourage collaborative innovation between large and small models. We will promote lightweight model deployment and accelerate their implementation in industrial settings. We will establish a public model service platform to provide high-quality models and supporting tools.
