Eight government departments, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, have issued the "Implementation Guidelines for the 'AI+Manufacturing' Special Action," which calls for promoting the iterative development of intelligent equipment. Efforts will be made to accelerate the application of artificial intelligence in machine tools and industrial robots, develop a new generation of AI-powered numerical control systems, and enhance capabilities in autonomous decision-making, analysis, and execution. The development of surgical robots and intelligent diagnostic systems will be expedited, and innovation in intelligent medical equipment products as well as their clinical application and promotion will be accelerated. Promote the integration of AI technology into the R&D, manufacturing, and operation of major technical equipment such as large aircraft and ships, and develop intelligent low-altitude equipment such as drones. Conduct testing and safety assessments of intelligent connected vehicles equipped with autonomous driving functions, and orderly advance pilot programs for product market access and on-road operation.
