Uniswap Founder: It’s extremely foolish for celebrities to use blockchain for scams
Svmuu News: Uniswap founder Hayden Adams posted on X, stating that it is extremely foolish for celebrities and politicians to resort to fraudulent schemes when monetizing through blockchain. Celebrities can certainly monetize through token launches without pulling a "rug pull"—for example, by maintaining stable liquidity pools (LP), creating utility features like meet-and-greets for token holders or governance voting, and being transparent with the public about the transaction details and risks. Blockchain provides powerful tools for coordination, monetization, and value distribution. Currently, millions of users worldwide are utilizing it, with more assets being tokenized and real businesses being built on top of it. However, some celebrities behave like scammers when using blockchain, often failing to realize that all transaction records are public and transparent.
