U.S. annual CPI came in as expected, sending spot gold up more than $10 in the short term
Svmuu News: The U.S. unadjusted annual CPI for December came in at 2.7%, unchanged from November and in line with market expectations. Following the release of the U.S. December CPI data, spot gold rose by more than $10 in the short term and is currently trading at $4,613 per ounce; spot silver rose by $0.30 in the short term and is currently trading at $87.04 per ounce.
