Svmuu News: Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform Party, has invested in Stack BTC, a London-listed company (Bitcoin).Through his company Thorn In The Side Ltd, Farage purchased 4.3 million shares at 5 pence per share, acquiring a 6.31% stake in Stack BTC, valuing the company at £3.4 million.This £260,000 funding round also attracted crypto firm Blockchain.com as a strategic investor. Stack BTC, chaired by former Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng, plans to build a portfolio of UK businesses while holding a reserve of Bitcoin.Blockchain.com, which registered as an FCA-regulated crypto business earlier this year, will collaborate with Stack to develop a strategy for the "Bitcoin" reserve. Farage stated that he has long been one of the few political advocates in the UK supporting Bitcoin and believes London should become a major global hub for cryptocurrency. (Yahoo Finance)
