Satellite data shows that Iran is still shipping large quantities of oil through the Strait of Hormuz
Svmuu News: According to foreign media reports, TankerTrackers.com, an organization that monitors ship movements via satellite imagery, stated that Iran continues to transport large volumes of crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz. Samir Madani, co-founder of the organization, stated that since the outbreak of hostilities on February 28, Iran has transported at least 11 to 12 million barrels of crude oil through the waterway. The actual figure may be higher, but there have been delays in obtaining satellite data due to the conflict. Since TankerTrackers.com relies on satellite imagery for monitoring, it can track vessel movements even when ships have turned off their digital transponders. (Jin Shi)
