Strategy CEO: If Morgan Stanley Allocates 2% of AUM to BTC, It Could Bring $160 Billion in Potential Buying Power
Svmuu News: Strategy CEO Phong Le stated on platform X that Morgan Stanley's wealth management business has approximately $8 trillion in assets under management (AUM). The recommended Bitcoin allocation range is 0–4%. If calculated at a 2% allocation, this would mean bringing about $160 billion in potential buying power to the crypto market, a scale three times the size of the existing BlackRock Bitcoin exchange-traded fund, IBIT. Phong Le described this type of potential demand as "Monster Bitcoin," indicating that the Bitcoin market is about to face massive buying pressure, which could have a significant impact on price and liquidity.
