Iran claims to have fired missiles at a U.S. aircraft carrier, emphasizing its control over the Strait of Hormuz
Svmuu News: The Iranian military announced on the 25th (local time) that Iranian forces had launched missiles to strike the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. Iran did not disclose further details. Iranian Navy Commander Irani stated that the Iranian Navy possesses “strong control and dominance” over the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf. He noted that Iran is continuously monitoring the movements and activities of the U.S. "Abraham Lincoln" aircraft carrier strike group, adding that the Iranian Navy would strike the group as soon as it enters the range of its missile systems.
