White House: Iran Proposes "More Reasonable and Concise" New Plan, Could Serve as Basis for Negotiations
Svmuu News On the 8th, White House Press Secretary Levitt stated at a press conference that Iran's initial 10-point proposal was unacceptable and has been discarded. A subsequent "more reasonable and concise" plan proposed by Iran could serve as a basis for US-Iran negotiations. Levitt said that US President Trump and his team believe this new proposal from Iran could be a viable foundation for talks and could be "aligned" with the US's 15-point plan. She stated that Trump's "red line" demanding Iran cease uranium enrichment activities has not changed, and claims that Trump would accept an Iranian "wish list" style agreement are "completely absurd."
