Yili Hua: Crypto Market Investors Roughly Fall into Three Categories, the Most "Passive Winners" Are Actually Traditional Funds That Don't Fuss
Svmuu News, Yili Hua, founder of Liquid Capital, stated during a livestream on Binance Square that the investors he has encountered can be categorized into several types: one type is the more "institutionalized" crypto VCs, whose research reports and frameworks appear comprehensive, but they lack a stable profit model after trends fade, facing significant survival pressure; another type consists of investors who deeply cultivate specific sectors, possess professional barriers, and can generate stable cash flow; the third type are those from traditional finance who are more restrained within their circle of competence, often not chasing hype and focusing only on core asset allocation for the long term. He also shared a case, stating that in 2018 he advised a traditional investor to allocate about 5% of assets to BTC. The investor held long-term and did not participate in altcoin trading. Subsequently, the proportion of this asset allocation increased significantly over time.
