Svmuu News: Due to soaring gasoline prices amid the war with Iran, the U.S. seasonally adjusted CPI jumped 0.9% month-on-month in March, marking the largest increase since 2022. Data released on Friday showed that the U.S. Consumer Price Index rose 0.9% compared to February, with the year-on-year increase climbing to 3.3%, the fastest pace since 2024. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics stated that the record surge in gasoline prices contributed nearly three-quarters of the CPI increase for the month.
