People's Daily Criticizes "100x Coins" and Other Practices Using False Profit Information to Attract Traffic
Svmuu News: People's Daily published an article titled "Disrupting the Capital Market: These Irregularities in Financial Self-Media Accounts Need Vigilance," which specifically named some accounts for using false profit claims such as "100x coins" and "earning millions by trading cryptocurrencies monthly" to attract traffic to virtual currency trading. The article once again cited a previous notice from the People's Bank of China and seven other departments, emphasizing that activities related to virtual currencies are illegal financial activities. It also pointed out that accounts and platforms providing traffic attraction and technical services for illegal virtual currency transactions are suspected of violating laws and regulations and may threaten financial security and anti-money laundering efforts.
