Svmuu News: Cryptocurrency hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger has released its 2026 AI security roadmap for the AI agent economy, with the core principle being to ensure humans always retain ultimate control. The company has appointed Chief Experience Officer Ian Rogers as its first Chief Human Intelligence Officer, responsible for leading the implementation of the AI security strategy.
The roadmap is divided into four phases: a hardware device integration toolkit has already been released; Q2 will see the launch of AI agent hardware-bound identities; Q3 will introduce agent intent and policy features, supporting hardware-based trusted approvals; Q4 will add a "Proof of Human" function. Ledger, with its hardware security root at the core, aims to provide a final confirmation layer for AI agent transactions, guarding against asset and identity risks, and assisting developers in building secure agent payment infrastructure.
