European Commission preliminarily finds Metaverse Platform Company still in violation after policy adjustments

Svmuu News The European Commission issued a communiqué stating that it has sent a supplementary statement of objections to the US-based Metaverse Platform Company. It preliminarily finds that the company, after adjusting measures restricting third-party artificial intelligence (AI) assistants' access to its instant messaging application WhatsApp, still violates EU antitrust rules. It intends to require the company to restore third-party AI assistants' access to WhatsApp. (Xinhua News Agency)
