Svmuu reported that according to Omani officials and a maritime data company, a ship flying the Indian flag sank this week in the Strait of Hormuz after being attacked off the coast of Oman. The Indian Foreign Ministry stated that the Omani side has rescued all crew members from the ship but did not disclose the identity of the attackers.
Maritime data company Windward stated that the ship is suspected to have sunk following a drone attack. Two informed Omani officials said the ship was transporting goats at the time of the incident. The specific circumstances of the ship's sinking are still under investigation. (Jin Shi)
