According to Svmuu, the number of supertankers transporting unsanctioned oil through the Strait of Hormuz has shown signs of increasing recently, providing limited relief to the global oil market, which is experiencing the largest supply disruption in history.
Based on ship tracking data compiled by Bloomberg, since May 10, four tankers, each carrying about 2 million barrels of crude oil primarily sourced from Iraq, have departed from the Strait of Hormuz, equivalent to a transportation speed close to 2 million barrels per day. (Jin10)
