US Treasury yields hit multi-month highs
Svmuu Svmuu reports that the Strait of Hormuz remains effectively closed, while inflation concerns persist, leading to a rise in US Treasury yields during the Asian trading session. Data from Tradeweb shows that the US two-year Treasury yield touched 4.064%, its highest level since February 2025. The US 10-year Treasury yield rose to a one-year high of 4.530%, and the US 30-year Treasury yield climbed to 5.071%, the highest since July 2025. After reaching these levels, yields retreated but remained 6-8 basis points higher than the previous trading day. (Jin Shi)
