According to official sources, OKX’s World Cup prediction event has opened a 1 BTC exclusive prize pool for the opening match of the 2026 World Cup. Users can now participate in predicting the outcome of the match between Mexico and South Africa, scheduled for June 12 at 3:00 AM Beijing time, and share in the 1 BTC prize pool based on their profit and loss performance in predictions for this match.
It is reported that this prize pool is a new match-specific prize pool for the World Cup prediction event, calculated independently from the overall leaderboard rewards. Related points will still be counted toward the overall leaderboard and participate in the 16.66 BTC total prize pool distribution. In the future, OKX will also open exclusive prize pools for other key matches.
