Svmuu News: Affected by tensions between the U.S. and Iran, stock markets in Japan and South Korea opened higher but closed lower on Friday. The Nikkei 225 Index closed up 196.57 points, or 0.28%, on Friday, June 19, after falling more than 0.5% at one point during the session, to close at 71,250.06 points. South Korea’s KOSPI index closed down 14.81 points, or 0.16%, on Friday, June 19, after falling more than 3% at one point during the session, to close at 9,049.03 points.
