Two Government Agencies: Online Transaction Platform Operators Must Not Engage in Differential Pricing Based on Differences in Platform Rules
The State Administration for Market Regulation and the Cyberspace Administration of China have issued the "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Rules on Online Trading Platforms." The measures stipulate that operators of online trading platforms shall not use platform rules to set different prices or fee standards for the same goods or services under identical transaction conditions without the consumer’s knowledge.
