Anthropic plans to raise $10 billion at a $350 billion valuation
On January 7, Eastern Time, The Wall Street Journal reported that Anthropic, the developer of Claude, plans to raise $10 billion at a valuation of $350 billion. Singapore’s Government Investment Corporation (GIC) and Coatue Management are expected to lead this funding round, which is expected to close in the coming weeks. This funding round will double Anthropic’s valuation compared to four months ago, following the company’s $13 billion funding round in September, when it was valued at $183 billion.
