Zelenskyy says the Russia-Ukraine conflict is expected to end in the first half of 2026
During his visit to Cyprus on the 7th, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy stated that negotiations with U.S. and European partners have reached a new level, and that the conflict with Russia is expected to end in the first half of 2026. Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine, together with its European partners, the United States, and all participants in the “coalition of the willing,” has reached a new phase in negotiations, and that the conflict could end during Cyprus’s term as the EU’s rotating presidency.
