Mexico Launches Anti-Dumping Investigation into Fresh Apples from the United States
On January 7, 2026, Mexico’s Ministry of Economy issued a notice stating that, in response to a petition filed by the Mexican industry association Unión Agrícola Regional de Fruticultores del Estado de Chihuahua, A.C., it has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into fresh apples (Spanish: manzanas) originating in the United States. The investigation period for dumping in this case is from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, and the investigation period for injury is from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2025. The TIGIE tariff code for the subject product is 0808.10.01. This announcement takes effect on the day following its publication. (China Trade Remedies Information Network)
