Ambassador Wu Jianghao Rejected Japan’s Objections Regarding Export Controls on Dual-Use Items
Today, Ambassador Wu Jianghao rejected the remarks made by Kenji Funakoshi, Japan’s Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, regarding China’s tightening of export controls on dual-use items to Japan. Wu Jianghao emphasized that China’s move is aimed at safeguarding national security and interests and fulfilling international obligations such as non-proliferation, and is entirely justified, reasonable, and lawful.
