Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business: China’s Business Conditions Index for February Edged Down to 52.4
The China Business Conditions Index (BCI) for February, released by the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business on Wednesday, stood at 52.4, a slight decline from 53.7 in January of last year. The index is calculated as the arithmetic average of four sub-indices. This month, three of the four sub-indices declined, while one rose. The Business Sales Expectations Index rose from 64.7 last month to 69.1 this month. The Business Profit Outlook Index stood at 51.2 this month, down from 52.7 last month. The Business Financing Environment Index was 48.7 this month, down from 50.3 last month. The Business Inventory Outlook Index was 40.7 this month, down from 47.3 last month. (Jiemian)
