Recently, Henan Province released the "Implementation Plan for Promoting Large-Scale Equipment Upgrades and Consumer Goods Trade-Ins in Henan Province by 2026," which proposes that by the end of 2026, the province aims to complete the scrapping and replacement of approximately 500,000 passenger vehicles owned by individual consumers, and the trade-in of approximately 5 million household appliances, while further unlocking the consumption potential of digital and smart products. Regarding equipment upgrades, support will be provided for equipment renewal in the following sectors: industry, electronics and information technology, energy and power, transportation, logistics, education, culture and tourism, healthcare, facility agriculture, grain and oil processing, work safety, aging residential elevators, energy conservation, carbon reduction, and environmental protection, as well as the installation of elevators in older residential communities, elderly care facilities, fire and rescue facilities, and inspection and testing facilities. Support will also be provided for equipment upgrades in offline consumer facilities such as commercial complexes, shopping malls, department stores, and large supermarkets. (Zhengzhou Release)
