Additionally, a YouTube editor was hit with a two-year ban and a fine of approximately $20,000 for using non-public information to execute about $4,000 in market trades between August and September 2025. CFTC Chairman Mike Selig stated that the agency has established a Predictive Markets Advisory Committee aimed at collaborating with industry participants to combat insider trading, and warned that violators will face legal consequences.
