A configuration error in the Ploutus oracle was exploited, resulting in approximately $390,000 in losses for the liquidity pool
Svmuu News Ethereum A liquidity pool (0xD060…945D2) on the Ploutus protocol was attacked due to an oracle configuration error, resulting in a loss of approximately $390,000.Analysis shows that the pool incorrectly referenced Chainlink’s BTC/USD feed for the USDC price, causing a significant price deviation. The attacker exploited this vulnerability to borrow 187 ETH using only 8 USDC as collateral. On-chain data shows that the attack transaction occurred in the block immediately following the confirmation of the configuration change; the attacker is suspected of monitoring the situation in real-time and swiftly exploiting the parameter update.
