Shenyu: AI Will Reshape Corporate Organizational Structures; Traditional SOP Models Face Overhaul
Svmuu News: Shen Yu, co-founder and CEO of Cobo, posted on social media that the development of AI agents will have a profound impact on corporate organizational structures. He noted that these agents are not intended to replace individual skills, but rather to disrupt management systems that have long been centered on standard operating procedures (SOPs). He pointed out that traditional enterprises standardize human execution processes by continuously layering on SOPs, whereas AI with autonomous planning capabilities, if simply embedded into existing processes, may lead to internal inefficiencies. In the future, enterprises may reconstruct their processes around the core concepts of “intent and boundaries,” with humans setting goals and rules, AI responsible for autonomously optimizing execution, and humans assuming supervisory and decision-making roles. Shenyu believes that as AI becomes more involved, departmental silos and middle-management oversight functions may weaken, and organizational structures are expected to evolve toward more efficient, dynamic collaboration models.
