The round was led by General Catalyst, with participation from Y Combinator, Paul Graham, Nexus Venture Partners, Moonfire VC, Goodwater Capital, Liquid 2 Ventures, 468 Capital, Ritual VC, and other prominent institutions and angel investors. Officials stated that QFEX positions itself as the first “TradFi-native” perpetual futures trading platform, offering 24/7 high-leverage trading of traditional assets (RWAs) such as U.S. stocks, indices, commodities, and forex, with leverage of up to 50x. The platform aims to enable retail investors to compete on equal footing with institutions and high-frequency trading firms. Team members hail from top trading firms such as Citadel, Jump Trading, Optiver, Jane Street, Tower Research Capital, and Flow Traders, bringing deep expertise in traditional finance and high-frequency trading.
