Svmuu News SlowMist founder Yu Xian posted on platform X stating that Coinbase has taken down the page requiring users to enter plaintext seed phrases. He pointed out that for wallets, the security model of online web pages is very low, far lower than that of extensions or apps; the practice of online web pages collecting plaintext seed phrases is easily mimicked and learned by phishing websites, and it has long been a common phishing tactic.
