White House Confirms: U.S., Iran, and Pakistan Hold "Face-to-Face" Talks in Islamabad
Svmuu News The White House stated on the 11th that the United States, Iran, and mediator Pakistan held "face-to-face" talks in Islamabad that day. It is reported that this is the highest-level face-to-face meeting between the U.S. and Iran since 1979. Senior White House officials revealed that the core members of the U.S. delegation include Vice President Vance, Presidential Envoy Witkoff, and Trump's son-in-law Kushner. Additionally, a group of U.S. experts are currently providing support in Islamabad, with more experts offering remote support from Washington. It is reported that the Iranian participants in this "face-to-face" meeting include Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
