Mexican President: Mexico Will Become a Major Supplier of Crude Oil to Cuba
On January 7 local time, Mexican President Sheinbaum denied during a morning press conference that Mexico would supply more crude oil to Cuba following Maduro’s arrest. Sheinbaum also stated that Mexico would become an important supplier of crude oil to Cuba. Sheinbaum explained, “The volume of oil Mexico sends to Cuba is no greater than before; Mexico will continue to supply crude oil to Cuba on a regular basis, just as previous administrations have done.” (CCTV)
