On February 23, 2026, the Argentine Ministry of Economy issued Announcement No. 172 of 2026, issuing a negative final determination in the anti-dumping sunset and changed circumstances review concerning aluminum foil originating in China, thereby terminating the anti-dumping measures on the subject products. On March 8, 2019, Argentina initiated an anti-dumping investigation into aluminum foil originating in China. On March 9, 2020, Argentina issued an affirmative final determination in the case, formally imposing an anti-dumping duty of 28% of the free-on-board (FOB) price on the subject products, effective for a period of five years. On February 21, 2025, Argentina initiated the first sunset review investigation in this case, concurrently launching a change of circumstances review investigation.
