The Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-Speed Railway Becomes the Country's Busiest High-Speed Railway
Yesterday (the 24th), Shenzhen, Guangdong, experienced a peak in both inbound and outbound passenger traffic. Among the returning passengers at Shenzhen North Station were not only travelers returning to Shenzhen from across the country, but also many departing from Shenzhen to travel to Hong Kong by high-speed rail. During this year’s Spring Festival travel rush, the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong High-Speed Railway became the “busiest high-speed railway in the country” with an average of 387 daily departures. During peak hours, the line operated 30 trains per hour, with a train departing every two minutes on average. (CCTV Finance)
