On the 25th local time, Iran announced that it had dismantled a terrorist cell in the southeastern part of the country. The operation resulted in the arrest of eight terrorists and the killing of three others. It is reported that these individuals had close ties to extremist organizations and foreign intelligence agencies. The operation yielded a large cache of weapons, including night-vision goggles, rocket-propelled grenades, and rifles. All those killed and arrested were foreign nationals. During initial interrogations, the detainees admitted to participating in an attack on a police checkpoint in Iran’s Kerman Province, which resulted in the deaths of three Iranian law enforcement officers and one civilian.
