On February 25 local time, Norwegian Prime Minister Støre announced at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in Kyiv that Norway would provide approximately 85 billion Norwegian kroner (equivalent to about 60.7 billion yuan) in aid to Ukraine by 2026. He noted that this amount accounts for about 20% of the total aid Ukraine has received this year. Støre stated, “Today, the President and I reached an agreement on the strategic partnership between Norway and Ukraine.” While the details of the cooperation remain unclear, Støre indicated that the two sides will jointly develop various areas that offer mutual benefits.
